Family Care for Children & Youth, Inc., an organization devoted to finding homes, resources, and supporting parents, is known for its commitment to helping families across Pennsylvania. As their legacy continues to grow, they are stepping into a new light, the spotlight. FCCY has partnered with a videography company to create a documentary surrounding the missions and motives of FCCY, in hopes of expanding outreach and continuing to educate people on why their organization is so important. The filming took place on September 16th and included their director Teresa, who is transitioning to the board, their upcoming director, Cassie, as well as their director of adoption, and a foster parent.
The Team Behind the Film
FCCY is joining forces with Empowered by Meg Ryan to create this new visual content. Valerie Maliga, their senior VP, worked closely with Teresa and Cassie on this project. Empowered is a video and documentary business that provides free content nationally, giving public television stations content to use freely. They produce over 90 documentaries monthly, and this one is an exciting addition to the list.
Family Care for Children & Youth, Inc. is working closely with Empowered on the content. FCCY will have a five to six-minute documentary as well as a 30-second commercial for unlimited use. Along with this, they will have a press release through PR NewsWire sharing details about the organization and their film. They plan to target their advertisement in the top five designated marketing areas to ensure they are reaching the most people. They are hoping that their employees can work to inform and explain the significance of what they’re doing, and that the foster parent can inspire others around them to see how they can help with the growing foster and adoption epidemic that we are facing.
Taking New Strides
The team at Family Care for Children & Youth, Inc. is extremely excited about this next step they are taking to continue their mission to educate and inform the public. They know how important it is that care and resources across Pennsylvania are for the many foster parents, adopted families, and even homes for children who are waiting to find their forever families. Their continued efforts have paid off so far in homing many children as well as preparing parents for the opportunity of a lifetime. The hope is that these expanded marketing strategies can carry that education forward as the organization grows.
