This November, Family Care for Children & Youth, Inc. is hosting our Community Food Drive, and we need your support! From November 3rd through November 14th, we’re collecting essential food items to help families in need within our community.
Why Your Donation Matters
Every contribution makes a difference in the lives of children and families who rely on our support. Your donations help ensure that no family goes without the essentials they need to put nutritious meals on the table.
What We’re Collecting
We’re looking for non-perishable food items including:
- Pantry staples: Canned potatoes, instant potatoes, baked beans, kidney beans, pasta, rice, and oatmeal
- Proteins: Tuna, canned ham, canned chicken, spam, peanut butter, canned protein, and Chef Boyardee
- Meal helpers: Stove top stuffing, gravy, canned chili, pancake mix, maple syrup, spaghetti sauce, and condiments
- Quick meals: Soup, ramen noodles, instant meals, Rice-A-Roni, and Lipton flavored noodles
- Breakfast & snacks: Cereal boxes, granola bars, cake mix/frosting, and instant hot cocoa
- Beverages: Coffee/tea, chicken/beef broth, bottled water, and juice
- Other essentials: Vegetable oil, flour, sugar, applesauce, beef stew, and fruit (canned or cups)
How to Donate
Drop off your donations at one of our locations (Milton, Dunmore, West Lawn or Greensburg) during the food drive period. Every can, box, and bottle counts!
