Family Care for Children & Youth, Inc. (FCCY) hit a home run this summer by volunteering at the 2025 Little League Baseball® World Series in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania. For nearly two weeks, our team joined hundreds of other volunteers in supporting one of the most beloved youth sporting events in the world.
Our team was thrilled to give back at the Little League World Series. Supporting these young athletes and being part of such an inspiring event was an incredible experience that perfectly reflects FCCY’s commitment to uplifting the next generation. That spirit truly captured what our time in Williamsport was all about: service, teamwork, and community.
Supporting the Next Generation
Each August, the Little League World Series brings together 20 of the best youth baseball teams, 10 from the United States and 10 international teams, to compete on a global stage. The 2025 tournament ran from August 13–24 at the Little League headquarters complex where thousands of families, fans, and volunteers came together to celebrate the game and the young players who love it.
FCCY’s volunteers spent time working at the concession stands throughout the event, serving fans and families who came to cheer on the young athletes. No task was too small. Every smile, every helping hand, and every word of encouragement reminded us how powerful community involvement can be.
FCCY was proud to step up to the plate at the Little League World Series, joining an event that celebrates teamwork, determination, and community spirit. It was a powerful reminder of how much we can achieve when we come together to make a difference. That message reflected our shared belief that serving others strengthens the bonds that hold our communities together.

This year’s Little League World Series was full of unforgettable moments: hard-fought games, inspiring displays of sportsmanship, and young athletes learning lessons that will last a lifetime. Whether it was serving refreshments to excited fans or helping make the experience smoother for families, FCCY was proud to play a small part in creating those memories.
At FCCY, our mission has always been about supporting and uplifting children and families. Volunteering at the Little League World Series was a natural extension of that mission. By helping behind the scenes, we not only supported the athletes on the field but also the families and fans who came to celebrate them.
