A Safe and Supportive Environment for Children in Need

Hundreds of children are placed in the foster care system every day. Unfortunately, many of these children do so under emergency circumstances that require fast and compassionate action.  Family Care for Children & Youth, Inc. helps to prepare our foster families for these situations as we understand that it can often be stressful for all involved and want to assist in alleviating that stress in every way that we can.  If you are interested in learning more about providing care for children in Emergency Services, or ways to support families providing foster care services, please contact a member of our team today.

Emergency Services with Family Care for Children & Youth, Inc.

Family Care for Children & Youth, Inc. provides emergency foster care placement services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  If a child immediately needs a safe place to stay, Family Care for Children & Youth, Inc. can provide a foster care placement with a family. During the emergency placement time period, appropriate plans for the child’s future living arrangements will be made by all involved parties, including, the child, their biological/legal family, the foster family, county case worker and Family Care for Children & Youth, Inc. Case Manager.  In some situations, it is recommended that the child remain in foster care, changing the program from Emergency Services to Family Based Services, hopefully allowing the child to stay with the same foster family.
